About Collin Jackson
My name is Collin Jackson, I am a 29 year old army veteran with over 13 years of experience in the mining, aggregate, and construction industries. I grew up in Craig Colorado where my step father started a custom crushing company called 3B Enterprise specializing in the production of sand, gravel, and rock products. He started his business when I was about 12 years old. I grew up watching him operate and watching the way the business runs. I started working as a manual laborer as many usually do. After a couple years I began operating heavy equipment including front end loaders, excavators, and bulldozers. Before I joined the Army I landed my first foreman position, where I met and exceeded production goals screening limestone for the surrounding coal mines. I am an expert equipment operator and have extensive knowledge regarding rock crushers, rock screens, wash plants and batch plants. I am a natural leader and the military gave me some invaluable skills in communication, leadership, and work ethic. My extensive experience in other aspects of this industry include conveyor belts, generators, hand and power tools, landscaping equipment, water pumps, excavation techniques and practices, grading basics, and also a general understanding of where money is made, and lost, in this business.
Listed skills include Msha Certified, Strategic Leadership, Heavy Equipment, Construction, and 2 others.

Heavy Equipment Operator
While I was employed at Rocky Top I was primarily operating front-end loaders to load vehicles and to feed one of the several screen plants we operated there. I was often left alone to operate the screen plants which only added to my knowledge of screening material. I was also in charge of breaking down the wood pallets with the excavator and thumb attachment. I parted ways with Rocky Top to pursue better and more progressive career opportunities.

There was a small amount of time that I spent in Laramie Wyoming, where I attended college for a short time, where I worked for a company other than 3BEnterprise. This was one of those companies.
