I am responsible for ensuring that the equipment opetators, plant operators, and manual laborers are always aware of what needs to be done, and are doing so in a safe manner inside all of MSHA and OSHA safety parameters. I am responsible for doing on the spot safety checks and repairs. I am responsible for recording and reporting production results to the next line of authority within the company, as well as all maintenance issues, safety incidents, etc. However, and I will say it again, the number one job is to make sure that everyone under my supervision and otherwise makes it home safely each day. I was often left alone to operate the screen plants which only added to my knowledge of screening material. My biggest accomplishment is when I was appointed foreman of the new limestone pit for the last two years of my employment there before I joined the military. I was in charge of the entire screening operation in the new Limestone pit that 3B Enterprise started to meet the demands of the coal mines in the surrounding areas. Show less
