Assisting Product Managers with the private label brands in the pet space - Organize and review samples, conduct sample analyses and report findings, meet with vendors to align goals for individual products, research brand launch strategy, and work to meet the needs of the consumers. Attend early-career events such as Meet and Greets with executive leadership, intern/mentor networking, distribution center tours, and company milestone celebrations.

Summer intern role in the Seasonal division of the Merchandising Department - projects included optimizing signage features for high traffic events, understanding the effects of downtime for the company’s number one product, coordinating with vendors to learn about and select product, completing weekly sales recaps, and much more. Contributed to the culture by attending volunteer events, scheduling meet and greets with cross functional team members, and traveling to stores to gain insight to the success and challenges of our store based team members.

Acted as a student ambassador representing over 30,000 members in the state of Tennessee when speaking to federal legislators, state legislators, stakeholders, potential members and supporters, and others. Wrote curriculum for and led more than 50 workshops with groups ranging from 5 to 150 students. Spoke to groups about important issues relating to the organization.
