My team increased the delivery of devices from solely US English in 2011, to 10 languages, including Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Russian in 2013.• I was instrumental in defining the Amazon E Ink localization infrastructure and process. Fostered relationships with partner teams. Increased transparency within the Kindle organization by gaining a reputation of being a trustworthy and reliable point of contact for localization planning and issues.• Promoted and drove adaption of pseudo-localization builds to senior management. Implementation of this tool dramatically decreased many of the localization issues we were encountering by 40%.• I negotiated, authored, implemented and drove adaption of a Service Level Agreements between teams to establish expectations and responsibilities among us. This allowed us to plan and schedule localization work in a more efficient manner.• Was pivotal in providing feedback on UI and UX proposals from an international perspective.
