Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day workshop that teaches participants to carry out life-saving interventions for individuals at risk of suicide. To date, delivered ten training sessions to over 150 participants that include Dalhousie University students, staff, and community members. Promoted to the rank of “Master Trainer” in June 2017 as a result of delivering ten sessions and mastering the delivering of all components of the two-day workshop.

Responsible for the safety and well-being of a diverse resident population of nearly 2300. Direct supervision of one professional staff member and 19 student staff members. Includes the development and promotion of residence programming and community development. Regular interaction with students to advise them on all aspects of student life, and refer them to on-campus and off-campus resources as appropriate. Member of a management team which provides leadership, employee management and oversight of 92 student staff members. Uses restorative approaches to address residence conduct issues, including conversations, circles and working with students to repair community harms.

Covered a sabbatical leave for 8 months as the Manager, Residence Life & Operations. Responsible for the safety and well-being of nearly 500 students. Worked with staff to provide various residence services (Facilities, accommodations, etc..) as well as the development and delivery of student life programming. In addition to managing the operations of all aspects of the six buildings, responsibilities included the provision of individual advising and resource support for students.

Responsible for the safety and well-being of nearly 1900 students in residence. Includes, but not limited to, providing programming opportunities, advising, and general support to all students. A member of a three-person management team supervising a 62-person student staff team. Worked with the Student Life office to facilitate conduct management.
