In elementary and high school the library opened a path for me to explore a variety of worlds both real and imagined and provided the bulk of the education that has served me so well in my various former occupations. How wonderful to be starting a new career helping to maintain such a valuable information portal as well as helping it adapt and grow in step with our "information age."o Setup & administered the ReadSquared website for the county's summer reading program for the past two seasons.o Have run the monthly local bookmobile route for LHC for about a year.o Have worked on creating and submitting the weekly desk schedule for LHC for about a year before being reassigned to donations.o Modified the County Library's existing time sheet in Excel to more accurately reflect payroll related dates.o Have been presenting a quarterly astronomy presentation for library patrons at LHC and also for a few other branches during the past summer reading program season.o Tasked with processing material donations to LHC assessing them for possible adding to our collection or making them available to other Mohave county libraries.o Recently been assigned to coordinate the adult programming presentations at LHC

My original job was to assemble circuit board components and solder them to the board, however, after my supervisor learned of my military training, I was assigned the task of verifying the proper operation of the boards already assembled.
