Structure creates freedom. A strong admin team, including accounting and HR, supports leadership and enhances organizational health.We need to know what is expected of us, and given the tools to fulfill those expectations. By tools I mean more than just working computers. They include policy, consistency, trust, respectful and direct communication, autonomy, responsibility, opportunities for collaboration, work-life balance, well-being, engaged learning, and compassionate leadership. My expertise is in accounting and HR operations in for- and not-for profit small business: providing board, personnel and management support, and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues, vendors, donors, and clients.
