● Perform detailed assembly and disassembly of foreign and domestic small arms weapons including smallarms inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs.● Possesses knowledge of the tools (i.e. hammers, punches, files, stones, etc.) and gauges needed toperform assigned duties, has limited knowledge in the operation of gun-smiting machinery such aslathes, milling machines, surface grinders, etc., as well as limited knowledge of tooling used with thosemachines.● Knowledge of basic shop safety procedures needed to work in a small arms environment performssupport functions for the shop.● Performing all inspections/repairs according to U.S. military-published Technical Manuals of weaponsystems.● Possesses knowledge of a variety of firearms and their parts/functions, in order to identify uponinspection any and all issues/faults with said part(s); and to submit an accurate report on the WorkOrder form for parts ordering/repair (based on National Stock Numbers).

● Marksmanship coaches analyze difficulties of shooters during dry and live fire exercises in all phases ofthe Marine Corps Marksmanship Program during qualification and re-qualification, communicate withshooters to ensure qualification. Additionally, assist in the operation of firing ranges.● With over 1400 hours in assisting range live fire exercises. Supporting over 200 shooters continue withexpert level marksmanship, and over 50 shooters attain expert marksmanship.● Gaining advance knowledge in M16A4/M4A1 and M9A1, in order to relay to shooters during their periodof re-qualification.
