Sometimes, all it takes is running through thorns to succeed. That would've been just a great metaphor to life . . . unfortunately it is very literal for me. Somehow, in the middle of a capture the flag game, my shoes flew off when I had the flag, and best way to my side was through a ton of wild raspberry bushes. Did I mention I wasn't wearing socks? You do the math. That will always be one of my sweetest victories. If you can find a person willing to run through a field of wild raspberry bushes, to win something as meaningless as a capture the flag game, I'd put my money on that person also succeeding in things that may actually matter. It's never good enough for me to just be mediocre at something, I have to be the best! I have to be the hardest worker, the best friend, the most aware and conscientious thinker. Whatever it is I put my mind to, I promise I'll do anything to come out on top.My passion in life is fighting for what I believe is right. I am very religious, and had the opportunity to be a missionary in Ukraine. There I learned the essential skills that would set me up for life. You can find that my devotion to a wholesome, moral life is reflected in everything I do. If you don't find me at work, or studying right now, be sure to look in the mountains or on the basketball court. You may find that my spot on the couch is often empty because being outside is so much more rewarding.
