Towers Watson acquired Aliquant on January 1, 2011. Towers Watson and Willis merged in January 2016. I will continue in my role providing project management for health and welfare benefits administration outsourcing services.

Aliquant is an employee benefits administration outsourcing company. As account manager, I manage the administration of all health and welfare benefits, including carrier eligibility reporting, payroll deduction interface, web-based self service, open enrollments, FSA/COBRA and call center operations. Can also offer corporations assistance with dependent eligiblity audits, employee communications, and retiree billing and collections.

Responsible for the cost and trend analysis, design, development and implementation of health and welfare benefit programs for 10,000 active employees and retirees. Managed vendor payments for self-insured fees and fully insured premiums. Assisted in due diligence reviews of benefit programs for corporate acquisitions. Coordinated consulting, actuarial and auditing support in preparation of 5500 financials and FAS 106 and 112 valuations. Responsible for the administration of the Medicare Part D Retiree Drug Subsidy program. Developed open enrollment and new hire benefit presentations, videos and other written benefit communications.

Responsible for planning and implementation of strategy to control corporation’s health care costs. Participated in negotiations and selection of claims administrators, HMOs and other H&W plan vendors. Responsible for the analysis of health care cost and utilization trends using various claim database analysis software packages. Coordinated written healthcare communications, open enrollments and day-to-day liaison between insurance administrators and employees/retirees. Was successful in voluntarily enrolling over 12,000 Medicare eligible retirees/dependents into HMO plans reducing annual costs and FASB 106 liabiilty. Provided benefit and cost analysis in support of union negotiations.
