Illinois Campus Compact provides support to its members in promoting community service, civic engagement and service learning in higher education. As an Executive Council member I provide support and guidance to the Executive Director in fulfilling the mission.

I provide services such as training, fundraising and special events to nonprofit organizations. My most recent client has been the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners. I've also worked with Shedd Aquarium, Girls Best Friend Foundation and Society of St. Vincent DePaul.

I implemented recruiting strategies to efficiently attract candidates, then interview and screen them.

Panel members review request for funding proposals, make site visits to select organizations and recommend each program's allocation award.

I coordinated and provided on-site support for community service trip to Costa Rica to work with Habitat for Humanity and SOFTLY, International. I also coordinated and marketed special events, such as lectures, classes, benefits.

Crossroads Fund supports grassroots community organizations working for social change on issues of social and economic justice in the Chicago area.

I recruited and trained volunteers, wrote quarterly newsletter, wrote solicitation letters and proposals. I was a panel member at a C.A.S.E. conference.

I served on the Board during RVA's transition from an all-volunteer organization to hiring its first staff. I trained crisis intervention counselors participated in the drafting of the (then) new sexual assault law in Illinois.

I worked in the Public Finance Division of the Municipal Bond Department, structuring multi-million dollar bond financings for universities and municipalities.

I was the first female bond analyst the firm hired. What can I say?
