My primary focus was on the customer experience and how our sales process could positively impact the customer relationship and provide the best product experience to exceed their (customer) expectations. Brainstorming new, creative ideas was ongoing. Tracking and measurement tools were created by our analyst. Working together we successfully launched a Sales Effectiveness Ratio (SER) that measured the products sold during the first 90 days after a customer opened an account, thereby expanding our onboarding process.The SER became an effective management tool for the frontline which provided insight into building the customer relationship through the offering of additional products, an added plus was, an excellent coaching tool for managers! A scorecard was developed and implemented to track and reward incentives. Ongoing monthly sales meetings were a welcomed opportunity to learn, grow, share ideas and celebrate our success.

My focus was on the retail product and delivery channel strategies essential to developing long-term customer relationships and profitable customers. Implemented an effective needs based sales approach with robust, customer driven lifestyle products that generated over a $1MM in annual service fee income. In addition, overall revenues grew as retail consumer relationships were strengthened and solidified.

Primary focus on growing profitable retail checking accounts through market awareness, internal sales development and aggressive product mix. In 2006, the Bank created a Retail Banking Division and I stepped into the role of Retail Banking Sales Director leading and expanding the sales culture of the bank. Instituted monthly sales meetings with our front line customer facing branch teams. I continued to work closely with the Product Management team on the development of customer-focused products that produced positive results to the bottom line. The bank changed direction the following year and developed a Community Banking strategic approach. I returned to Product Management and was promoted to Vice President.

During my tenure at FISI-Madison Financial I was in new sales for 6 years, focusing on bringing in new clients as a member of the East Region Team. I moved to the National Accounts team in February of 1989 managing our largest client relationships helping them evolve their products, grow accounts and generate additional fee income. I remained a member of the team until April 2000.
