In my role as a Project Engineer 2, I advanced to overseeing the development of the next generation of cordless electric lawnmowers, with responsibilities extending across all electric push mower products. I led projects from early concept to mass production, focusing on high-volume manufacturing requirements. My responsibilities included:- Leading the design and development of components shared across multiple product lines, ensuring consistency and efficiency in manufacturing.- Driving projects to meet aggressive timelines, from concept through to mass production.- Implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining product performance and reliability.- Coordinating complex design efforts across multiple teams to ensure alignment and integration of components.- Conducting rigorous testing and analysis to validate designs and optimize performance.- Communicating technical details clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.

Selected as one of a few engineers for an exclusive Engineering Leadership Development Program, designed to cultivate future management talent. This program involved a rigorous interview process for acceptance and provided hands-on experience through a series of challenging projects, personalized mentoring, and targeted classes. The program emphasized the development of leadership skills, strategic thinking, and project management, preparing participants for advanced roles in engineering and management.

As a Project Engineer 1 at TTi, I focused on the development of specific product lines within the walk behind electric lawnmower category. My role involved managing projects from initial concept through to mass production, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, manufacturable products. During my Co-op with TTi's Large Chore Department, I contributed to the design and development of electric power tools, including lawnmowers and snow throwers. I managed a design project from concept through testing, gaining hands-on experience in CAD design, prototyping, and creating testing procedures. I completed this work while working on my Mechanical Engineering degree at Clemson University through their Co-op program. My responsibilities included:- Leading a design project from concept to prototype, including the creation of testing procedures.- Utilizing CAD software such as NX and SolidWorks to design and refine components.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.- Conducting hands-on testing and analysis to validate design integrity and performance.- Gaining practical experience in TeamCenter for product lifecycle management.

Performed SolidWorks product design, examined the engineering design process from concept to assembly, and worked alongside an experienced PE engineer. This position was equal parts design and hands on experience in the machine shop doing fabrication and assembling products.
