I am a Graduate at Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcasting Television Production. Currently employed at WLWT as a Production AssistantExperienced with work in a Freelancing environment working the Country Music Awards Festival in Nashville as a Camera Utility for a Dolly Camera.I have worked for over 2 years at WKYU PBS in Bowling Green Kentucky as a Crew Member as well as a Master Control Operator.The Crew deals with setting up and striking equipment including Camera, Lights, and Audio. We produce several shows in our studio as well as on location. We broadcast many WKU sporting events to our market, as well as capture sporting events for Conference USA. Myself and several other crew members also edit Icons, ID's and Promo's for the various programs we broadcast, using Avid.As a Master Control Operator, I log the time of all video that gets sent out on our primary channel, log any discrepancies or mistakes made during the broadcast as well as fix problems that may occur when our shows go to air. We also ingest programs for us to broadcast at a later date. This involves checking that our files are named properly, marking the In and Out points for the programs, as well as a brief Quality Control look at the program. We then log the programs runtime.
