I have taken an interest in anything computer related. I enjoy the problem solving aspect of hardware and software troubleshooting, the constant necessity to learn new technology and further my knowledge. I excelled in the Cisco Networking Academy semesters 1 - 4 and would love to continue learning to work with their equipment.Working with Tompkins County Information Services, I had the opportunity to work closely with professionals in a wide variety of fields. With the Specialists, I have handled simple and complex troubleshooting work orders, moving between the buildings of the local government. I have also assisted the Network Administrator and Director on a county wide upgrade to Windows 10 and to a new cloud-base security software.I would like to continue my education in a more specialized field and acquire certifications from Microsoft and Cisco to be able to work with their equipment and software. I am always eager to learn new techniques and skills to improve my effectiveness and efficiency in the field.
