Scott Seltenrich Consulting is a Thread washing company who works on drilling rigs in Alberta And British Columbia. The actual act of thread washing involves a crew of 2-3 who go to different gas and oil drilling rigs and tends to the casing pipe used after the hole is drilled. The job entailed multiple responsibilities, upon arrival to the service rig the crew must consult with the rig service manager and receive the details of the job. On average a job consists of three specific parts starting with "Drifting" which involves sending a peg down the middle of the casing pipe to clear the center of debris. the second part of the job is "Washing" this is when we use industrial pressure washers attached to burners to clean the grease and oil off of the threads of the casing pipe. after the first two jobs are done we must inspect the casing for any imperfections we find and tell the service manager immediately, upon completion of inspection we clean our equipment and our job is complete
