As an aspiring actuary passionate about data-driven decision-making, I enjoy using my strong mathematical and analytical skills to develop new and improved solutions to everyday problems - in and out of the actuarial world. I have possessed a keen interest in probability, statistics, and problem-solving since I was young, and I am eager to apply these skills to real-world scenarios.I am currently in my third year of pursuing a degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies at University College Dublin, where I have developed a strong foundation in actuarial principles, financial modelling, and risk assessment.I am a fluent Irish speaker as well as having achieved a minor in Spanish as an additional part of my degree. I am also proficient in Office, Excel and Access - while having gained experience using R and Python throughout my academic career to date. I enjoy passing on my knowledge to improve others as seen in my previous positions working with children of all ages during both my time as a Substitute Teacher and as a Private Leaving and Junior Certificate Tutor.I’m always eager to connect with industry professionals, learn from new opportunities, and contribute to projects where I can make an impact.
