Manchester MedX is an annual, national conference that showcases the best and the brightest new innovations from the world of healthcare technology. Our mission is to provide a universally accessible environment that brings together researchers, medical professionals, and students to inspire new thoughts and ideas that will drive healthcare forward.It is a one of a kind event in the North with an unparalleled level of accessibility and a free-to-attend model in order to make sure that there are no barriers to getting involved in healthcare innovation.

Manchester MedSoc is the largest student society in the UK, comprising over 2,000 members. During my time there, alongside two excellent teams, we rebranded the society, quadrupled the number of educational events, restructured our finances in such a way that we could provide funding to over 40 other societies that we oversaw, and turned an ailing, debt-ridden organisation into an inclusive, self-sufficient society. We were nominated twice consecutively for society of the year, and won the award in 2016.I also co-founded Pacemaker Magazine and Manchester MedX during my time there.
