- Responsible for leading design of future helmet product categories, conducting user research with multiple stakeholder groups and translating user needs to product design specs. Led initiative for future category aesthetic with concept design sketches, material studies, exterior and interior design concepts, mock-up creations, clay sculpts, and refinement of surface design in VR using Gravity Sketch. - Developed work stream utilizing VR design tool Gravity Sketch for rapid iteration of 3d design concepts, leading initiative for incorporating new technologies and tools into the Xenith Design work flow.- Led design contributions to and supported engineering team with prototype construction of Xenith's 2021 NFL Helmet Challenge award winning helmet design submission. - Supported lead designer on future shoulder pad category, assisting with physical mock-up construction, concept sketching and material and construction recommendations. Conducted user field research with test mule prototypes, distilling and reporting key learnings back to the greater product innovation team to be worked into later design revisions.

- Responsible for design of both hard and soft good products, applying creative problem solving skills to address aesthetic and functional challenges.- Conducted user research with stakeholders via in depth interviews, focus groups and field testing to understand the emotional and functional needs of the athlete, parents and equipment managers using Xenith and competitor products.- Design lead for the Xenith Shadow helmet released in 2018. Led design throughout research and ideation creating design concept sketches and refinement of the form via clay sculpt. Created numerous mock ups to refine fit systems and improve comfort and the donning doffing experience of the athlete. Worked closely with Product Development to insure design intent was translated to production tooling, and with Engineering and Lab Testing teams through the lab testing phase to help improve impact performance attributes.- Design lead for the S/S 2020 award winning Under The Lights (UTL) training apparel collection. Worked closely with technical apparel developer to source fabrics, trims, refine fit, pattern and seam placement and other construction details technical performance apparel. Reviewed and provided feedback on fit samples and color of lab dips to be communicated to factories and mills for subsequent revisions. Applied creative problem solving skills to help reach FOB cost targets while maintaining design integrity.- Design lead for the Momentum compression performance apparel line in 2019. - Supported design of the first apparel collection from Xenith in 2018. Responsible for enforcing safety protocol, and cleaning and maintaining areas of the shop including welding, sandblasting, vacuum forming and laser cutting equipment.
