Vice President, Pledge Educator, Philanthropy Chair, Social Chair, Pr ChairSigma Chi Gamma Tau Apr 2021 - May 2024Fargo, North Dakota, United StatesThe Sigma Chi fraternity is one of the largest fraternities in the US and Canada, having initiated over 300,000 brothers and having around 250 chapters.- As the Gamma Tau (NDSU) Philanthropy Chairman, I have been in charge of the chapters volunteer hours and planning of fundraisers to raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute, the fraternity's main philanthropic cause- in Fall 2021, the chapter achieved almost 76 hours of service in our community and raised just over $200 for Huntsman- though these numbers seem small, for a chapter size of 11, getting these numbers are a beacon of hope for the year 2022 in philanthropy for the NDSU Sigs- after four semesters of being the ritual chair of the chapter, I was voted in as the pledge educator, an important position within the fraternity as a whole. So far in the position, I have overseen the educational and personal growth of 4 brothers to our chapter, and aim to see many more I can mentor in that way.-currently run chapter social media pages, as well as events with other NDSU Greek life organizations and clubs, as well as other clubs from colleges in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
