Develop and implement transaction risk rule suites in order to minimize fraud loss while declining true customers as little as possible. Worked alongside technology and customer operations teams to prepare, launch, and maintain real time decisioning systems processing over 2MM transactions per day.Assist in the design and implementation of modern fraud detection services, such as customer alerts, voice biometrics, and real time customer authentication, in order to continue to improve customer experiences. Incorporated Mastercard and other third party risk models into existing strategies to increase model orthogonality and strengthen rule performance. Used risk model scores along with operational constraints to create transaction level valuations, informing which transactions should be declined. Coordinated with third party vendors, technical teams, and senior level executives during implementation. Led to increased annual savings of ~$4MM, a greater than 10% decrease in fraud loss. Creation of models and data pipelines with Python and Databricks, data visualization and monitoring with Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
