Team Lead for the Enterprise Dashboard "Stomatopod" frontend pod.We're responsible for the Enterprise Dashboard behind the business's Enterprise sized Full-Service Direct clients, as well as the dashboard that powers the new GH Direct Self-Service websites - giving restaurants the ability to create their own website with no commission.Additionally, stepping in to lead the Home Team, responsible for the Grubhub for Restaurants dashboard as well. Coaching engineers, hiring and creating processes to help with consistency and quality of delivery of features.

Led three teams: capabilities, experiences and decoupling (15 direct reports) in a leadership transition period, with the following key results:- Fastest performance numbers to date (knocking our 10% faster YoY goal out of the park)- Facilitated a partnership with the frontend platforms team to seamlessly replace our builds from an on-the-fly custom bundler, to statically cached bundles with Webpack, resulting in decreased FID, and statistically significant improved conversion rates.- While replatforming, the experiences team released several redesigns of the page - one of which (full width reviews) resulted in a $120MM yearly increase in conversion.- Mentored several engineers, three of whom were promoted for their impact.- Led the team through its transition from pure development to dev ops - resulting in a team that owned its own process and had complete transparency into what was happening during incidents. Promoted postmortems as a way to document learnings and prevent future issues. Deployments now take 10 - 15 minutes, rarely rolling back, and when they do - they take 1/4 the time.- Focused the team's scope and identified opportunities for engineers to join other teams so that the team size could reduce to one where communication wasn't overburdened, and scope was clearer.

I was approached by the director to build and maintain a brand new responsive HTML5 site that connects tutors to students, and provides the public with information about the center. Built for mobile, and desktop platforms, as well as for digital signage throughout the campus.

I am leading a development team of 3 developers to create a Civic Social Network for Bentley University's Service Learning department. The network, called Civic Impact has gone through several iterations, and is built on the LAMP stack with a Twitter Bootstrap front-end. The network aims to connect students, professors and community organizations with a platform to share ideas, opportunities and events. Still hoping to finish this project, but the project's members no longer have the availability to finish it.
