Every day, with every customer, you need to deliver an enjoyable and hassle free experience because customers will want to return if they get consistently great treatment. Landmark taught me all of my customer service skills and taught me how to communicate with people in a way that is easy to understand and as simple as possible. When customers came for a refund, I found it was often a very difficult process for them even before they entered the theatre. Therefore, I usually get straight to the point with them and explain what I will be doing for them, what options they have, and try to make the process sound as if it is tailored specifically for them. I try my best to keep the process very hands off for them and only ask for more from them when I absolutely need it, such as for payment information. I use this process because it leaves the customer happier than when they came in and makes them feel special and appreciate, which they often express through kindness to myself and other cast members.

Key Skills:- Willingness to learn- Active Listening- Teamwork- CommunicationAs a freelance laborer, I usually worked in small teams of three to five people constructing decks, fences, laying interlock, and drywalling. As a laborer, I would always be working under a foreman who would instruct me on what to do and expect the job to be done correctly with little contact after the initial explanation. This period taught me to always be actively listening to the instructions you are given and to ask all necessary questions at the beginning to ensure you comprehend your job. My foreman were often very stressed out and spread thin having to instruct multiple laborers so I often tried to finish my assigned tasks and assist the foreman as much as possible while delivery an excellent product that everyone could be happy with. Some labor also required multiple people doing the same job to complete efficiently. For example, aligning very long boards when framing a deck required communication between myself and the other worker to correctly align the board and ensure there would be no sag or large gaps in the decking. Some of these tasks would often be quite tasking and stressful so I had to learn to communicate clearly with others, being very specific of my needs as to keep the task stress free for myself and the other worker.
