I am an action-oriented leader with over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry. In my career I have developed logistics software systems for warehouse distributors, medical service providers and manufacturing companies. I have successfully merged seven IT departments into one, developed an award-winning service delivery function (legal IT award), led the largest IT outsource in the legal industry and led the achievement of the ISO/IEC:20000 service management certification for both law firms and large accountancy practices.I have managed teams of up to 80 people and held budget responsibility for over £10m of operational budget (excluding salaries) across infrastructure, service delivery and outsourced service domains.Following my permanent roles I chose to further develop my knowledge and skills as an independent IT consultant within the legal, accountancy and media sectors. I worked with a range of clients to develop strategic IT plans, lead system selection projects and deliver ITIL and ISO/IEC:20000 service management advice as well as running multiple service transformation projects. I have also held several interim IT Director roles for top 30 law firms in England and Scotland.My current role of Vice President, IT Operations is with a global media company, Iyuno-SDI Group (previously SDI Media Group). From joining the company 4 years ago I have transformed the global Help Desk, Infrastructure and Network teams by providing a strategic business aligned roadmap incorporating efficiency, transparency and improved engagement as key elements.
