I work closely with the technical editor, supporting tasks such as footage ingest, logging backups, and creating dailies. Additionally, organising Hard Drives, including, Encryption, Erasing, and checking contents. Additionally, I handle the transportation of production kit, ensuring the proper distribution of equipment and drives to various productions and post facilities. On a weekly basis, I help manage stock levels, including groceries and production supplies, and ensure the office is prepared for the week ahead. Occasional tasks include running errands, such as delivering laptops, assembling furniture, and performing general maintenance. I’m also responsible for managing deliveries, assisting coordinating the production kit room, and liaising with production staff, including secretaries, coordinators, and directors.
