Working in a small business setting, the Fishing Station's online team comprised of myself and my manager, jointly overseeing all day-to-day operations and long-term website goals.Upon joining the team, I started off with checking and packing online orders, but this quickly evolved into a range of diverse and expanding responsibilities.I discovered the strong and loyal customer base that the Fishing Station had built thanks to the customer-first mindset of both the Online and In-store departments. Fishing Station's commitment to customer relations impressed me, and I made it a priority to build upon that foundation and learn from it.I played a pivotal role in leading the online store's migration from Woocommerce to Shopify. This encompassed implementing website optimizations, streamlining fulfillment processes, integrating new systems and applications, and effectively troubleshooting issues.One of my marketing-related duties was producing a bi-weekly newsletter, EDM Campaigns, and flow configurations. These newsletters consisted of articles on various fishing-related topics contributed by guests and members of Fishing Station, these campaigns achieved great results with an opening rate of over 50% and an average CTR of over 10%.Stock management, product creation, and stock control were also a part of my main duties. Fishing Station's range of over 15,000 different products made for a good challenge, and I quickly learned to fully utilize our inventory management software, Lightspeed, to streamline this process which freed up my colleagues to do more important tasks.Occasionally, I assisted with producing various seminars for Fishing Station. This required the creation of event invites and effectively distributing them across various customer relationship channels. My prior experience in events and filming facilitated the seamless recording of these seminars.
