I'm a passionate, creatively-driven individual with a keen interest in fiction and genre filmmaking. From 2019 to early 2022 I completed a Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media at Swinburne.This course taught me proficiency in Davinci Resolve, Several Adobe Creative Suite products, most notably Premiere Pro and Photoshop, gave me familiarity in various lighting and high-end camera equipment, and allowed me to practice my craft in several jobs within a film production. These jobs obviously required a great deal of socializing with peers in order to work well in a team to achieve a vision and in this regard, my social and teamwork skills have improved greatly and I like to think of myself as a person who is easy to engage and work with, especially if I'm extra-passionate about the work I'm doing.Over my time in this course, I've become familiar with being a First Assistant Director, Producer, Editor, Boom Operator, sound designer and many more, including experience in product photography (which I have had a chance to utilise in my current job), my two most favourable roles however; lie in directing and script-writing, which is also where my passions lie. I wrote, directed, starred in and created special effects for one short genre film of my own as well as working in various aforementioned roles on other student's short films.I currently have completed my studies and am working in a warehouse sending/receiving, picking/packing, repairs and general junior role at Videocraft where I am developing my familiarity with Television and broadcast equipment as well as furthering experience in a role that requires an attention to detail. This job has also required me to use my product photography and familiarity with film equipment from time to time. In my spare time I aim to work towards a career where I can let my passion and knowledge for film and creative arts shine, whether running a hobby-focused Instagram page where I post what I collect, or beginning creating video essays as a hobby. At home I love to watch/read and collect physical media of movies and graphic novels and have a great passion and wealth of knowledge in a wide range of genres, countries of origin and time periods in creating these forms of media, as well as about the companies that release said media.
