I’m a professional rugby player, having played for Ulster Rugby and Jersey Reds. I’ve recently signed for Doncaster Knights for season 2020-2021.From my time as a rugby player I have gained a number of interpersonal skills from team building and co-operation to public relations. During my rugby career I hope to be able use the skills learnt through being in a professional sports environment as well as the network of contacts throughout my career and transfer them into the business sector. Whilst playing for Ulster Rugby, I also completed a BA degree in Business and Management at Queens University Belfast. During this period is set up Noggin Sport CIC, a Community Interest Company dedicated to raising awareness and supporting mental health.During my time with Ulster I completed my Level 3 RFU coaching badges whilst coaching Malone RFC Ladies team for 3 years. Having helped them gain promotion into All Ireland League Division 1. The following year 8 players were selected to represent the province of Ulster and 1 player was selected to represent Ireland in the Women's Six Nations - something I'm very proud of. I then went on to be head coach of Jersey Reds women's team and helped develop the elite player development program alongside Jersey Sport which identify local talent on the island into elite sport. I am currently head coach of Silhillians Sirens and am developing an elite player program in combination with schools and universities in the local area.
