The scope of works included a 13.6km pipeline of 1200mm diameter epoxy lined steel pipe, constructed in two Phases. 10.3km of open-cut mainly and 2.10km in 7 no. pipejacked crossings beneath major roads, Network Rail, and London Underground assets. The 7 crossings utilised a 1500mm ID. earth pressure balance tunnel boring machine. The diameter of the pipeline was reduced to 1000mm at these locations. The open-cut construction was a mix of open-cut trenches and trenchless work and at one point a pipe-bridge.
