This included;• Detailed budget analysis and allocation, scope of works definition, risk allocation, contract terms and programme negotiations, detailed tender evaluations, tender departure negotiations, and awarding of major works packages. • Assisted with the re-drafting of the VCA subcontracts suite, incorporating the head contract terms and conditions, rights and obligations, and setting up contract management procedures of the project.• Claims preparation and post contract commercial management of all contractual entitlement matters upon GLU. • Managed the monthly subcontractor payment claim cycle. Reviewing and evaluation submissions before issuing for approval (scope of works analysis, reviewing and accessing variations, and delay claims entitlements).

Quantity Surveyor - Beckton to Woodford Pipeline - Project Value £32,000,000 - Client - Thames WaterThe Beckton to Woodford project required the construction of a pressure pipeline to transfer potable water from the WTP (desalination plant) to Woodford Forest Reservoir for distribution. The scope of works included a 13.6km pipeline of 1200mm diameter epoxy lined steel pipe, constructed in two Phases. 10.3km of open-cut mainly and 2.10km in 7 no. pipejacked crossings beneath major roads, Network Rail, and London Underground assets. The 7 crossings utilised a 1500mm ID. earth pressure balance tunnel boring machine. The diameter of the pipeline was reduced to 1000mm at these locations. The open-cut construction was a mix of open-cut trenches and trenchless work and at one point a pipe-bridge.
