Hi, I'm Conor Maher, and I'm currently pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. I'm a hardworking and diligent student with a GPA of 3.45 and I'm proud to have made the Dean's List for the 2021 Fall, 2022 Spring and Fall, and 2023 Fall.I recently gained some experience working as an Engineering Intern for Binsky Snyder working on site at Princeton University. During my time at the Princeton Environmental Science and Commons building, I gained extensive experience with mechanical and plumbing equipment and piping on site. My responsibilities included documenting weekly testing reports, tracking installation progress, communicating with the foreman, and resolving engineer and punch list issues. Additionally, I engaged with various related departments, such as estimating, manufacturing, virtual design coordination, and production engineering, through weekly interactive sessions. My efforts culminated in two final deliverables: a preliminary mapping of a future project and a study and optimization on the installation of VAV Air Terminal Devices.I possess a range of skills that I believe would benefit me in my future career. These include proficiency in SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, Technical Writing, Autodesk, and Strategic Project Solutions PPC and PSO. I've also completed some notable courses like Mechanics, Thermal Engineering, Field Sustainable Systems, Control Systems, Fluid Dynamics, and Modeling and SimulationOverall, I'm excited to continue learning and gaining experience in the mechanical engineering field, and I'm open to new opportunities that may come my way.
