This past summer I was very fortunate to be hired as 1 of 4 Interns working with the talented teams at Inclusive UCC and The UCC College of Business and Law. Over the course of my internship, I worked to review some the College's academic content, identifying accessibility barriers. I also implemented the Blackboard Ally accessibility software with the goal of increasing accessibility, particularly document accessibility, across the college and university.Our internship culminated with us four interns presenting our findings and recommendations to the university management, department heads, lecturers, and academic staff.I am very proud of the work that I and my fellow interns have done, I feel we brought a unique perspective to the project and have had great positive impact on the overall accessibility of academic content in UCC.

I am thrilled and extremely excited to be spending this summer as an Intern Product Manager at WorkDay Dublin. After studying software development and business analytics for the first three years of my UCC BSci Business Information Systems undergrad, I'm eager to develop my skills and knowledge beyond the academic world. I'm excited by the learning opportunity of putting the theory I've learned into practice in such a successful industry leading company, before returning for my final year college.
