I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 years of Big 4 Consulting experience, helping clients identify and manage risks and managing these projects. As a Consulting Manager at KPMG, I specialise in developing & delivering strategic and operational risk management solutions to clients across both the financial services and technology sectors, and delivering Financial Transformations.Some specific experience to date includes;- Building and using financial models for financial services and non-financial services clients; - Delivering a global programme for risk and control library rationalisation across a multinational insurance agency;- Conducting risk and regulatory reviews for financial services and non-financial services clients;- Drafting and implementing frameworks and polices to assist clients across the banking, insurance and technology sectors improve their governance around multiple areas including Data, AML and Solvency II, and level of compliance with associated regulations.- Delivering SME insights to an Irish D-SIB in advance of and during a JST regulatory inspection, as well as providing Project Manager support throughout. - Developing process maps and identifying risks, controls and process improvement opportunities;- Performing assessments of client's current regulatory compliance, and assessing the impact of incoming regulations for clients; Having worked both independently on secondments and as part of larger project teams varying in size, my strong client focus has led to positive outcomes for all engagements I have been involved in to date.
