As a part of this role, I:- continued to perform day-to-day pricing of wholesale Electricity and Gas for C&I customers, as well as pricing Multisite and Feed-in-Tariff customers. - performed price sensitivity analysis on the FCAS market and developed forecasting methodology using ML algorithms, which was implemented within the DataBricks environment as a part of EnergyAustralia's automated Battery Bidding project.- developed solutions to improve forecasting of solar farm output for the FCAS market, increasing available volume for dispatch by 10 GWh pa.

As a part of the Pricing, Analysis and Systems team, I:- developed a ML script to predict C&I customer usage with ~95% accuracy to align customer usage with PLEXOS forecasts for PPA firming rate analysis.- formulated a new Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) firming rate calculation methodology for C&I PPAs, based on PLEXOS forecasts and confidence intervals.- designed Excel macros to improve Pricing Model functionality, including a multi-objective discount optimiser, gas interval data retrieval and validation, and writing pricing outcomes to an Oracle DB.- audited pricing models and performed day-to-day gas and electricity pricing.

As part of my Masters degree, I undertook a year-long research project. This involved: - designing and leading my own research project, which investigated the use of smartphone cameras to predict EMG signals within target muscles. - developing and implementing my own experimental procedure for data collection, processing, analysis, and validation. writing a bespoke Python algorithm to input, filter, and model the data, then cross-validate and compare the results. - My program utilised an array of basic methods, including regression, decision trees and random forests, as well as custom built ensemble methods that used an array of weak learners and combined their results using clustering and voting algorithms.

Code Camp is an initiative run to teach young children, usually 7 to 12 years of age, how to code in Java. To achieve this, the students use an interactive coding platform to create simple games.
