• Co-lead for the district’s design of Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and lead coach for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) coach• Re-designed San Bernardino County’s MTSS and PBIS trainings to develop individualized Tier I, II, and III programs for each of the nine school sites• Dependent on the school site’s needs, collaborated with a school site team to implement the appropriate tier and evaluate its fidelity and success in order to re-design necessary changes• Coordinated services for the district’s behavior intervention classrooms, non-public school students, and residential placement to adhere to state policy and district budget• Increased the efficacy of the behavior intervention programs by collaborating with school staff to improve curriculum instruction and classroom management and increased the number of students successfully transitioning back to the general education setting• Designed and developed legally compliant and effective processes and frameworks for individual student programs and served as the administrative designee for Individualized Education Program meetings• In collaboration with other school site professionals, designed a functional analysis assessment process and training to increase the accuracy of student problem identification by school psychologists and fidelity of implementation by teachers• In collaboration with mental health professionals, designed a screening and assessment process to provide appropriate and legally compliant mental health services to students and families along with re-evaluation procedures to determine the efficacy of services• Oversaw the behavior and mental health programs including supporting district counselors, contacting and collaborating with community resources, fielding parent concerns and complaints, and developing handbooks for these programs and the district’s crisis team. Presented the program at CSBA.
