Ori Biotech is a London and New Jersey based innovator in CGT manufacturing that has developed a proprietary, bespoke and flexible manufacturing platform, which enables patient access to a new generation of personalized, lifesaving treatments.▪ Manage and lead a team of Test Engineers, defining and supporting their work across multiple workstreams, according to the master V&V plan at the system and subsystem level.▪ Developing V&V plans, creating test protocols, designing and delivering test equipment and ensuring robust testing and timely data reporting.▪ Responsible for the project management of verification of all consumable designs against product requirements and regulatory standards prior to product launch.

A member of the Reilly Lab group, the Neural Engineering lab in TCD (reillylab.net). My main focus was researching transcutaneous Spinal Cord Stimulation (tSCS) and developing a system which will provide a non-invasive method to aid rehabilitation after spinal cord injury.Work from myself and the Reilly Lab was published and presented at the IEEE EMBC 2022 conference in Glasgow, with a number of other manuscripts currently in the peer-review process, prior to publication.▪ Coordinated research projects of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, physiologists, physiotherapists and neuroscientists, and supervised master’s students to ensure project deliverables were achieved.▪ Prioritised software requirements and led unit and functional testing throughout development.▪ Designed experiments to evaluate performance and efficacy of novel algorithms: 1. Real-time modulation of spinal stimulation based on EMG inputs; 2. Comparison of IMU derived joint angles to gold standard.▪ Documented technical aspects and delivered quarterly reports to funders, ensuring the continuation of funding throughout the project and the achieving of project goals in the specified timeframe.▪ Completed a course in Epidemiology & Biostatistics to lead statistical analyses (mixed effects models) in multiple papers written for publication, and also completed a certificate in Research Integrity.Skills Developed:Experimental design,Recording and signal processing of electrophysiological (EMG), kinematic and kinetic data, human subject recruitment, Hardware, software & algorithm specification and development,Extensive MATLAB & Python programming, Project management, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

▪ Identified, developed and implemented solutions for clients’ problems, with particular focus on integrated strategy and optimisation of new technology solutions using user stories.▪ Project managed an EMEA wide team to integrate design thinking and agile methodologies into multiple teams across EMEA, and delivered workshops to territory CEOs to define clear roadmaps of implementation.▪ Managed multiple deliverables and worked with different stakeholders to ensure project goals were achieved within tight timeframes on every engagement.▪ Quickly learned and adapted to clients’ industry regulations (public health, commercial banking, private health & insurance), ensuring full compliance of all solutions and strategies.
