Since achieving a B.A. (Mod.) in Biochemistry with Structural Biology from Trinity College, Dublin, I have held a number of administrative roles in a range of areas including education, finance, and recruitment. These have informed my understanding of the importance of diversity in educational outreach, but sadly not advanced my thorough interest in information technology.Due to this, I have recently elected to return to study, and currently find myself pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science from University College, Dublin, which I balance alongside a range of voluntary initiatives to help promote STEM among non-traditional students of such subjects.As a self-confessed film buff and sci-fi afficcianado, my hobbies include cinema, reading, a healthy amount of gaming, and keeping atop a variety of podcasts. I endeavour to travel more for both leisure and work, and hope to return to writing in the new year.
