Duties and responsibilities with Visionaire include project management of various activities including but not limited to off the shelf and customized software validations, operating metric reporting, CAPA, legal support, MRI manufacturer relationship building, imaging and software development management, process documentation generation, and support for safe harbor self-certification.

Duties and responsibilities whilst in the Innovation department included researching new technologies, business development activities, as well as MS SharePoint database administration for the Recon division. Further activities included monthly summaries for the sales force of relevant JBJS/JOT articles as well as data mining RVP reports for trends.

Duties and responsibilities included departmental and project management of hip and knee computer assisted applications and instrumentation. The scope included working with outside software partners as well as internal processes to insure a cohesive launch. Further responsibilities include working with surgeons to develop new products, maintaining design history files, as well as providing engineering support during evaluations. Supervisory responsibilities included development engineers as well as designers.

Further responsibilities included working with surgeons to develop new products, maintaining design history files, coordinating with other corporate divisions, as well as providing engineering support post launch. This work has resulted in five design patents. Supervisory responsibilities included development engineers as well as interns.

This work resulted in one patent. Manufacturing Engineering Assistant, Manufacturing Engineer I, Manufacturing Engineer II, Smith & Nephew Inc.Duties and responsibilities included developing and implementing new hip products and processes, cost reduction projects, and capital justifications. Duties also included writing process validations for FDA approval, time studies and evaluation of manufacturing processes, and reporting on company wide tooling usage.
