Dedicated to nursing as a profession. I support the belief that as a nurse we are required to be leaders. Therefore, I have committed much of my time to professional nursing associations, community volunteering and development. I participate in professional organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. I am a volunteer for the American Red Cross- Disaster Healthcare Services. I am currently supporting the development of child and adolescent crisis center and on the CYBHI-Equity task force. I am an advocate for universal screening of adverse life experiences in primary care.I am always interested in a challenging and responsible position as a pediatric provider to enhance my knowledge and skills. My areas of interest are pediatrics, public health, foster care, child and adolescent mental health, children with specialized medical needs.I am currently working on my certification in holistic nursing.
