I am currently a third-year Business student studying Sports Management and Marketing at Ohio University. Through my time at OU, I have developed an interest in Sports and would love to continue learning and creating opportunities within the field. Throughout my undergraduate career, I was the VP of Recruitment for Sigma Alpha Epsilon, I am a part of the 1804 Scholars Honors Program, and a member of Sigma Alpha Sigma Mu, an Honors Business fraternity for Sports Management majors. On college breaks I work in Golf Services for the Atlanta Athletic Club, and I have previously been an umpire for youth baseball games, and a volunteer coach for a youth basketball team. I was selected as a member of the Youth Advisory Council for the City of Roswell's Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs department to help shape the future of sports, athletics, and recreation in my community. During my time on the Youth Advisory Council, I advocated for and helped promote a special needs tennis program, because I know that sports can have a tremendous impact on a child's life. I know it certainly did for me.I obsessively consume sports content, watching both games and sports coverage daily. I prioritize listening to sports podcasts over music, and I have been on air on Atlanta's 92.9 The Game sports radio talk show twice. I am extremely interested in sports social media, was a communications intern for the Baseball United Foundation, and co-founded a high school recruiting page for Ohio State football on Instagram that now has more than 22,000 followers. I believe my passion for the business of sports, as well as my coursework in one of the nation’s premier Sports Management programs, make me a strong candidate for internship opportunities and a career in sports.
