CurrentBenefits Enrollment & Management - Coordinate and manage open enrollment periods for health, dental, vision, and other insurance plans- Facilitate employee enrollment, changes, and terminations of benefits throughout the year.- Present benefit options to new hires and guide them through the enrollment process.Benefits Compliance - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA. - Coordinate COBRA notices for employees who leave the company. - Track and maintain compliance documentation and policies.Vendor & Provider Liaison - Serve as the main contact for benefits vendors, including health insurance, dental, vision, and other providers. - Negotiate renewals, resolve disputes, and facilitate claims issues between employees and providers. - Coordinate with vendors for wellness programs and open enrollment meetingsHRIS & Benefits Systems Management - Maintain benefits data in the company’s HRIS and benefits administration systems. - Run reports and analyze data to ensure accuracy in employee deductions and employer contributions.Employee Communications & Education - Develop and distribute benefits communications, such as plan updates, wellness program details, and open enrollment instructions. - Organize and facilitate benefits orientations and webinarsLeave Management - Administer FMLA, parental leave, disability, and other types of employee leave. - Coordinate with employees on necessary documentation for leave and communicate with managers regarding return-to-work dates.Auditing & Reporting - Conduct regular audits of benefits data, payroll deductions, and employee eligibility. - Prepare data and metrics to support annual plan reviews and budgeting.Problem Resolution & Support - Liaise with carriers to resolve coverage issues and escalate complex problems. - Document and track benefits inquiries to identify recurring issues or improvement areas.
