My name is Cooper Snead, and I'm a marketing student at the Kelley School of Business. I am an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about entrepreneurship and really have a desire in building successful companies. Since my teenage years, I have been dreaming of becoming a successful businessman, and I have tried almost every side hustle you could think of, which includes dropshipping, e-commerce, trading, selling Etsy art, and digital art.However, it wasn't until a couple of years ago when I discovered my true passion for video editing on TikTok. Even though I had no prior experience in video editing, I found myself enjoying the process more and more. I loved seeing the views pile up on my videos, and that feeling was addictive. Since then, I have dedicated myself to video editing and have seen the rewards of my actions. This journey has taught me the importance of hard work and resilience, and I believe these values can be applied in the business world to help businesses grow. My willingness to learn from past failures and my love for video editing are assets I'm confident can be transferred into other areas. Overall, I'm excited to bring these values into my future endeavors and to help others achieve their goals. Last summer, I took the leap and transitioned to full-time selling on Amazon, and I’ve learned more than I could have imagined. From communicating with suppliers to handling and tracking inventory, every step of the way has been a learning experience. Managing the technical side of things—especially when issues arise with Amazon’s platform—has taught me to stay adaptable and calm under pressure.I’ve had to become efficient at balancing logistics, like keeping inventory levels on track and solving problems that pop up out of nowhere, all while ensuring that the business continues to run smoothly. These challenges have given me a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a business—from the small details to the bigger picture.Today, I’m proud to say that I’ve built a five-figure Amazon business that’s nearly fully automated. It’s been a journey of growth, mistakes, and perseverance, but each hurdle has made me stronger. The skills I’ve developed—like supplier negotiation, problem-solving, and inventory management—are ones I never expected to master when I first started.
