Recruited to the CEDC in 2017, Lindsey has been instrumental in the continued expansion of regional tourism efforts, quality of place initiatives, non-profit assistance, and the development of our rural areas, smaller businesses, and downtowns.During her tenure at CEDC, Lindsey’s strategic acumen and collaborative approach have been pivotal in distributing over $6 million in private and public aid to local businesses during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Her creative problem-solving skills and ability to unite stakeholders have made her a key figure in the organization’s success. Lindsey is also renowned for her exceptional event planning capabilities, significantly enhancing community engagement and development.In the last two years, Lindsey has expanded her expertise to include larger business recruitment, retention, and expansion. She has led site selection tours and collaborated with partners on incentives and infrastructure projects, further solidifying her role as a dynamic force in economic development.A dynamic and highly respected professional, Lindsey is known for her ability to engage diverse stakeholders with compelling insights and practical solutions. Lindsey was recently awarded the 2024 Community Leader of the Year Award and nominated as a "Woman of Excellence" by the Cowlitz Wahkiakum United Way.
