I came to Augusta and signed up with a temporary agency. I was sent to an apartment complex in the capacity of leasing agent. Within 2 days they moved me to a manager's position. I appreciated that they saw my strengths and that they are giving me the opportunity to grow. Here I have developed exceptional working relationships not only with the management staff but with the residents. I am maintaining an occupancy of 98% through an incredibly challenging transition.I left my employment with Epic Divers and Marine, who hired me after the first day of temporary work and purchased my contract, to relocate to Oklahoma City.Managing an HVAC company for 7 years provided it challenges for my background was really in sales. I did continue to sell for the company through networking and social media. I handled every complaint from customers to employees with listening skills and resolutions. I managed to save the company thousands of dollars annually with the organization of the day-to-day business. I also found new ways to save money with new vendors.“Don’t be afraid to go for positions, jobs or take on clients outside of your knowledge base. It’s when you are uncomfortable that you learn and grow the most.”
