Aviation has been in my blood since I was a small child. To that end I began retraining towards a career in aviation in September 2019 by joining a six-month, full-time ATPL theory course. I completed the theoretical part of my training as the UK entered lockdown in March 2020.I enjoy teaching, so started ATPLTips during lockdown, a Youtube channel to help former classmates (and other students) understand some of the more complex ATPL concepts. Not prepared to let the pandemic slow down my training, I travelled to South Africa in November 2020 undertake the required Hour Building, then travelled to Sweden to complete the CPL & MEIR at Diamond Flight Academy Scandinavia. I then travelled straight to Dublin to undertake the APS/MCC course at Simtech.I have extensive experience in both managerial & team member positions across a range of industries- most recently successfully overseeing projects in the construction sector.
