Worked in multiple departments including 360 Sports Medicine and Rady's main pediatric developmental services center. Program served as a co-curricular day-to-day medical experience (Over 300+ hours) for participants.-Health Career Connection provided a comprehensive 10-week (40hrs/week) experience meant to inspire and empower undergraduate students and recent graduates to choose and successfully pursue health careers that best suit their talents and goals. HCC is a vast network of healthcare professionals that provide career guidance. Participated in health career and cultural diversity workshops at UCLA, facilitated by HCC and Southern California HCC Alumni. -Participated in Rady Children's Summer Medical Academy as a group leader thanks to connections provided by HCC. Participants were high school students (ages 15-18). Our main goals were to develop young leaders into active healthcare pursuers and to inspire them to gain a better understanding of the variety of healthcare practices while also expanding on our own knowledge concerning the current state of the healthcare field. Carried out program with unprecedented positive outcomes. Helped facilitate, plan, and execute 2-week program while serving as a mentor for students. Attended a variety of healthcare sessions/workshops, a genome sequencing informational, and toured at these host sites: Illumina Inc., Rady Children's Hospital, UC San Diego School of Medicine, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc.

I took care of two disabled clients from out their homes, one autistic and the other autistic with down syndrome. Exercising with both clients was primary focus; taking them for runs and going to the local YMCA 2-4 times a week (at times) with various other activities such as play time and feeding being implemented as well. With one of my clients in particular, I attempted to focus on athletic health. The other client, I took the responsibility of mostly preparing either breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner and cleaning room (+200 hours).
