Manage the design and development of lighting products from concept phase through final production for three brands within Visual Comfort & Co’s portfolio. Partner with the Chief Design Officer and executive leadership to determine gaps and opportunities in total product assortment. Manage design development team to oversee all product designs through production. Travel regularily overseas to manage manufacturing processes; troubleshoot manufacturing techniques, develop finishes, ensure quality control, negotiate pricing, and manage timelines for all brands. Manage communication between internal staff, overseas staff, and production facilities to ensure that launch priorities are met and remain current throughout the development cycle.Manage production of catalog photography working with internal and external photographers. Art direct application photography and partner with creative team for catalog pagination. Produce product training materials and present them to all internal team members and external sales staff.Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and public relations teams to build cohesive marketing for product launches including theme messaging, product selections, and main features for internal and external showrooms.

Manage Generation Brands’ permanent showrooms at the Dallas Market Center, which houses five brands spanning 32,000 square feet of exhibit space. Design, plan, coordinate, budget, and manage construction and setup of all five showrooms for “Lightovation”, the Dallas International Lighting show that takes place in January and June of each year. Coordinate and manage various teams, including construction, maintenance, finance, catering and exhibit staff, for the duration of the show.Design trade show booths for temporary exhibits around the United States such as “HD Expo” and “Lightfair”. Work with booth manufacturers to bid booth construction and create timelines. On-site show setup and management.Develop and manage national merchandising programs. Design and develop construction plans and work remotely with showrooms and contractors to execute those plans at lighting galleries nationwide. Provide detailed sales analysis for participating showrooms. Oversee showroom product selection, product installation, and merchandising. Provide follow up sales analysis, product suggestions, and continued merchandising support post gallery completion.

Oversee all merchandising within the store, monitor inventory levels, product shipments and inventory/sales reporting. Plan and execute Floorset and sales floor refreshes, develop replenishment plans and overall store organization. Develop not only a strong visual team but also a strong sales team, monitor and coach all associates to ensure they are properly engaging with customers, trained on product knowledge and are held to expectations set by WSI. Set and monitor sales goals for the day, week, month and quarter. Ensure the store is reaching/exceeding all goals set by the corporate offices and that all standards of operations are met within the store.
