About Cordelia Bell

Public service, antitrust law, and volunteering are my passions! As a paralegal with the US Department of Justice, I witnessed to antitrust law during a pivotal point during its history. Every day, I assist with groundbreaking cases that are pushing the discourse on antitrust law and consumer rights. Practically, I have gained skills that help me at all levels of legal case management and creation – from document review to trial preparation. My experience working in the legal field started in 2016 when I worked for a small civil litigation firm in my home state of Vermont. In this role, I conducted document review, prepared exhibits and demonstratives for trial, and was the lead paralegal on a federal trial about two draft horses (it was a very VT case). Since high school, I have made it a mission to always volunteer in the community I live in. As the child of two public school teachers, tutoring and mentoring children has always held a special place in my heart. Recently, I volunteered with D.C. Reads a program that pairs college students with disadvantaged elementary school students to provide mentorship and tutoring. As I look towards the next chapter in my life, I will continue to embrace my passions as a law student with hopes of returning to the antitrust space after graduation.
