Building a Business is a 10-week evening lecture series providing business skills to those who would like to start a business, and those with an existing business who are seeking to develop and enhance their skills. It covers good business practice with a focus on science and technology enterprise. I have successfully completed and received certificates for the 2012 and 2014 versions of the course.

I was employed to determine the number of bacteria on various banknotes for MasterCard as part of their Europe Research. I conducted all the lab work required and produced a report comparing the number of bacteria found on various banknotes from different countries. The findings were then compiled into a press release by Fishburn Hedges which was distributed all over Europe.
