I worked about 8 hours per week as a cashier at Northern Illinois University's bookstore, Huskie Books and Gear. As a cashier, I improved customer service by providing an enjoyable shopping experience, kept track of inventory, and answered customer questions and concerns via in person and phone.

During the Fall 2017 semester, I served as a peer educator for one of Northern Illinois University's University 101 class. As a peer educator, I help organize and teach lesson plans to help freshmen students adapt to life at Northern Illinois University. Also, I serve as a mentor and resource for freshman students.

As a sales intern for Pulte Homes, I guided customers through the pricing, home buying, and construction process. Also, I conducted home demonstrations and follow-ups with leads and prospects. I provided coverage for sales offices across the Chicagoland area when needed.

As a community advisor, I helped enforce university policies and community standards. Also, I encouraged individual growth through conducting monthly check-ins with 13 residents and creating motivational bulletin boards.

As an orientation leader, I had the responsibility of informing incoming freshmen and transfer students about NIU resources. Also, I facilitated group discussions with incoming students. I worked closely with College of Business undergrad advisors to guide students through the class registration process. I worked alongside College of Business professors to teach students about the importance of establishing a strong personal brand, specifically, through their campus involvements.

During my freshman year of college, I was a tour coordinator for the university open houses and other admission events. I had the responsibility of organizing residential hall tours for prospective students and their families. Also, I recruited and trained 20 tour guides toconduct the residential hall tours.
