First we select a series of modern rock songs of a particular theme. Then I teach one on one drum parts and vocal parts for the chosen music. Another bass and Guitar teacher and I bring the students together in a workshop rehearsal setting. Where I co- direct the group in an intense performance based program, refining and preparing the group of students for their next performance in front of a live audience. It is incredible to see these kids come out of their shells and give it all they have while playing some quite challenging rock and roll songs. I am always inspired by the drive and dedication of the the kids and am proud to be a part of such a wonderful unique music school, full of amazingly talented teachers and students.
