Hello! I’ve been in the hospitality and retail field my entire career. I have performed on all sides of the business from bussing tables and washing dishes to running a 280 seat multi- million dollar restaurant. I believe in empowering my team to know their strengths and encourage them to have fun at what they do. From that passion is developed and their performance is exponentially increased. The restaurant business has taught me three things that I carry into my role as a leader. One, expect the unexpected. Two, do not dwell on the negative, find the positive in anything. Three, love what you do and love what you do for others.My career has taken me to casual style restaurants that were family owned and operated. Through these experiences I was able to understand the business and the views of an owner and an operator. I’ve helped these businesses grow although consistent service and food, promotions and training. My education from these has taught me front and back of the house operations and ways to make the business better. I understand and have created P&L programs, implemented training programs that are still in use today by those restaurants and found unique ways to motivate and educate my team. One restaurant even saw profits from my programs for the first time in 7 years!I know the restaurant business, love the restaurant business and thrive in the organized chaos that is the business. I’m driven, honest and fair. These qualities and my outgoing personality have made me a leader that not only knows how to follow but that my team wants to follow!
